We members of the Sacred Heart Parish Family rededicate ourselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the CHURCH'S new EVANGELIZATION MISSION.
Our Mission is to fulfill the mandate and the autholrity entrusted to the Apostoles and ourselves in Matthew 28:18-20; to go into the world to evangelize and to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Our Mission and vVision is to begin this new evangilization from our Sacred Heart Parish family and spread it throughout the world. We empower every faithful to begin this Mission in their own small way of bringing the GoodNews to others.
You are a menber and your mission begins NOW!!!
Mission Statement
Sacred Heart Enthronement Centre of the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani. It started in the early seventies at Penkwase and Low cost by some devoted Catholics who were attending Mass at the Christ the King Cathedral. It is through the small Christian Community concept that the church came to exist.
As the membership increased and the communication in the area improved, more Catholics within the vicinity joined. Due to this, it was raised to the status of a Quasi Parish on 30th January, 1994. Through the relentless efforts of the Parishioners and most especially the untiring efforts of the Frianciscan Friars, the construction of the magnificent Church building started on 24th June 1999 and it was completed in June 2003
The Dedicated and consecration of the Sacred Heart Catholich Church took place on Saturday 11th October, 2003 by His Lordship, Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, Catholic Bishop of Sunyani. It was at this ceremony that the Church was elevated by the Bishop to a Parish status.

PEACE PRAYER
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be
consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying
that we are born again to eternal life.
